AMENDMENT TO REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF TRADE No. 44/M-DAG/PER/10/2008
CONCERNING PROVISION FOR IMPORT OF PARTICULAR PRODUCTS

BY GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD,
THE MINISTER OF TRADE OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Considering:

• a. that to support effectiveness in the implementation of policy on import of some particular products, it isnecessary to make amendment to Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 44/M-DAG/PER/l0/2008 concerning Provision for Import of Particular Products.
• b. that based on the consideration referred to in a; it is necessary to stipulate Regulation of the Minister of Trade;

In view of:

• 6. Law No. 7/1996 concerning Food (Statute Book No. 99/1996, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3656);
• 7. Law No. 36/2000 concerning Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 1/2000 concerning Free Trade Zone and Free Port to become Law (Statute Book No. 251/2000, Supplement to Statute Book No. 4053) that is amended by Law No. 44/2007 concerning Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 1/2007 to become Law (Statute Book No. 130/2007, Supplement to Statute Book No. 4775);
• 8. Government Regulation No. 102/2000 concerning National Standardization (Statute Book No. 199/2000, Supplement to Statute Book No. 4020);
• 9. Presidential Decision No. 260/1967 concerning Confirmation of Duty and Responsibility of the Minister of Trade in Overseas Trade Sector;
• 10. Presidential Decision No. 187/M/2004 concerning establishment of Unity Indonesia Cabinet that is amended several times and the latest amended by Presidential Decision No. 171/M/2005;
• 11. Presidential Regulation No. 9/2005 concerning Duty, Function, Organizational Structure and Working Procedure of the State Ministry of Republic of Indonesia that is amended several times and the the latest amended by Presidential Regulation No. 20/2008;
• 12. Presidential Regulation No. 10/2005 concerning Organizational Unit and Duty of First Echelon of the State Ministry of Republic of Indonesia that is amended several times and the latest amended by Presidential Regulation No. 21/2008;
• 13. Decision of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 229/MPP/Kep/7/1997 concerning General Provision for Import;
• 14. Decision of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 141/MPP/Kep/3/2002 concerning Importer's Special Identification No. (NPIK) as amended by Regulation of the Minister of RI No. 07/M-DAG/PER/3/2008;
• 15. Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 01/M-DAG/PER/3/2005 concerning Organization and Working Procedure of the Department of Trade as amended several times and the latest amended by Regulation of the Minister of Trade of RI No. 34/M-DAG/PER/8/2007;
• 16. Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 31/M-DAG/PER/7/2007. concerning Importer's Identification No. (API);
• 17, Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 15/M-DAG/PER/5/2008 concerning Provision for Import of Textile and Textile Products.
• 18. Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 44/M-DAG/PER/10/2008 concerning Provision for Import of Particular Products.

HAS DECIDED:

To stipulate:

REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF TRADE OF THE REPUBllC OF INDONESIA ON AMENDMENT TO REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF TRADE No. 44/M-DAG/PER/10/2008 CONCERNING PROVISION FOR IMPORT OF PARTICULAR PRODUCTS.

Article I

The provision in Article 12 in Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 44/M-DAG/PER/l0/2008 concerning Provision for Import of Particular Products has been amended so as to read as follows:

"Article 12

This Regulation of the Minister shall take effect on February 1, 2009 and shall expire on December 31, 2010."

Article II

This Regulation of the Minister shall take effect on the date it is stipulated.

For public cognizancel this Regulation ofthe Minister shall be announced by placing it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
